Founded December 2016 by Jay & Maggie Wilderotter, this five-suite Tuscan styled bed and breakfast offers luxury to every guest. Offering award winning wines of Wilderotter Vineyard, the Grand Reserve Inn is synonymous with class and style for the well traveled guest.
VIP wine tasting experiences, spacious patios, gourmet breakfast and wine/cheese pairings create an atmosphere our guests can't wait to revisit. Olive oil comes from estate-grown fruit, with beautiful olive trees lining our driveway entrance.

FEATURED - Wilderotter Vineyard
Wilderotter Vineyard makes 21 varietals, including Zinfandel, Syrah, Tempranillo, Barbera, Viognier, Petite Sirah, Grenache. Mourvèdre and the signature Sauvignon Blanc. and has been recognized for its award-winning wines including the 5x gold medal winning Barbera. They currently produce 5000 cases of wine annually, plus approximately 30 gallons of high-grade finishing olive oil from Manzanilla, Leccino and Frantoio fruit grown on the estate. Premium fruit is procured to produce limited releases of Russian River Chardonnay, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Amador Primitivo.

Chew Kee Store
The "Chew Kee" is a Chinese rammed earth structure established as an herb shop during the Gold Rush. Dr. Yee Fong Cheung, an herb doctor who was operating the store in the early years, came to America to administer to the medical needs of the Chinese miners, later also tending to the Chinese railroad workers. In the 1880's a man known only by his store name of "Chew Kee" owned the shop and was providing groceries and supplies to the Chinese community. "Chew Kee" remains largely intact as one of only four remnants of the once thriving Chinese community in Fiddletown. The store is open on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m., April through October.

Kennedy Gold Mine
The Kennedy Mine, famous for being one of the deepest gold mines in the world (at 5912 feet), demonstrates how gold changed an entire way of life in California. Between 1848 and 1858, California exploded from being a largely unpopulated agrarian state into a vital, fast growing and exciting part of the United States. Prospected in 1860, reorganized in 1886 and continuously run until 1942, the Kennedy Gold Mine produced approximately $34,280,000 in gold according to the CA Dept. of Conservation. One of the tallest head frames in existence today can be seen at the Kennedy Mine.
