Our guests say it best - "This Tuscan-style villa luxury B&B accommodation opened in early 2017 on the Wilderotter Vineyard, Plymouth, CA. Touring the gold wine country we opted to stay a night and wished it were a week. There is a central courtyard with rooms flanking the sides and a lovely servery room to the rear where evening welcomes and breakfasts are served. We were met personally by the vineyard owner Jay Wilderotter with a genuine warm welcome, went for a superb wine tasting in their tasting room and returned to check in to the sumptuous Tuscany suite. The Grand Reserve Inn is on a rise, surrounded by the vineyards and commanding spectacular views of the sunset from the private terrace area, fleece throws supplied for the colder evenings - watching the sunset and wildlife go by in the evening tranquility. Tracy, our host for the evening, was superb, providing a complimentary charcuterie platter that was enough for an evening meal, a rose wine followed by another of our choice from the excellent collection, no one could be more welcoming. The suite was simply superbly equipped, quality exudes throughout and no expense had been spared in providing this special experience. Super comfy bed, fireplace with huge TV above and a luxurious bathroom. . .too much in the room to mention here but it is all superb. Breakfast next morning was equally impressive, freshly and personally prepared. Where it is different from other luxury experiences is the honest desire that Jay Wilderotter clearly has to make sure his guests have the best experience and the thought that has gone into this very special place in the heart of wine country is outstanding. I have stayed in many places all over the world, and if anyone can beat this as one of the best B&B's in the world, I would love to try the others. TripAdvisor only has 5 stars otherwise this would have been 10. Go and stay at the Grand Reserve Inn, you will not regret it!" Located just a short, 50-minute scenic drive southeast of Sacramento in historic Amador Gold Country.
